Perry has degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and currently holds a Professional Engineer license in the province of Alberta, Canada.
His background includes manufacture, test, and cost accounting of electronic add in cards for personal computers, including the real time data collection and process flow software and systems in the 24 hour a day, 7 days a week operation. He has many years of high availability, real time transactional systems experience, including financial systems for the major credit card companies and major financial institutions.
Most recently he has set up a software based software licensing system that issues licenses via an Internet Web page server. This also includes the automatic sale of the software licenses via the Internet and the online charging of customer's credit cards. He is currently working with an Internet web browser based application that uses the Enterprise Java Beans architecture.
Other areas of experience include fiber optic test equipment, C++ compiler development, electronic card failure analysis, and version control and releasing. Perry's software experience is in .NET, Java, XML, Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
